The Te Papapa Onehunga Touch competition is a real community-based competition situated in the Central South Part of Auckland at the Fergusson Domain. This awesome venue hosts the Te Papapa Onehunga Rugby Club during winter and in summer it is a wonderful place to spend your Friday afternoon & evening.

The Junior Touch competition is staged during the afternoon while Mens and Mixed Grade play from 6:30pm onwards. Its time to make this a family / community afternoon.

FRIDAY AFTERNOON JUNIOR TOUCH

Junior Grades – Yr1&2, Yr3&4, Yr5&6 Boys and Yr5&6 Mixed, Yr7&8 Boys and Yr 7&8Mixed

Season 1(Term 4): 26 Oct to 14 Dec & Season 2 (Term1 2019): 18 Jan to 01 March
Junior Playing Times – 4:00pm 4:30pm 5:05pm 5:40pm
Rule Variation
School Yrs 1-4: is 5 aside with the  Coach allowed on the Field, Yrs 1-4 play 1/2 a Touch Field. Dropped Ball counts as a Touch.
School Yrs 5-8: Standard Touch Rules, 6 Aside

Cost

Adults – $600 Per team (which includes Referees Fees)
Junior – $200 Per team per Term
PRIZE MONEY Adults – Mens and Mixed grade winners will win our very valuable vouchers, roughly equivalent to half your season fees.

  • Abundant recreational facilities, playgrounds and parking across the entire Domain.
  • Toilets and change-rooms in the Rugby Clubrooms, but we suggest donning your playing kit back at the office
